Welcome to the Graner Sound Multimedia Studios Home Page. GSMS started life simply as Graner Sound, a company that provided studio services and sound reinforcement for the Austin live music scene. As time marched on, I began to work with the Amiga computer to create multimedia presentations and in the process developed a software package called ParBENCH. I have amassed quite a bit of equipment for my studio over the years and have listed the combined capabilities below:

GSMS equipment repertoire includes a complete Newtek Video Toaster system, two time base correctors, 24 point BNC video patch bay, 96 point Tascam audio patch bay, a 16 channel Tascam mixer, Yamaha SPX-90 Multi-effects unit, Yamaha GC-2020B stereo compressor-limiter-ducker, Ibanez DD1000 dual delay effect unit, Audiocontrol spectrum analyzer/EQ, SAE parametric EQ, two 8mm camcorders S-VHS Mastering deck, a Microsearch chroma-key system, Sony/JVC LAN-C High 8 editing system, 2 Pentium PC compatibles all linked together through a Novell Netware 4.1 file server with CDROM server. We can edit and produce videos from 8mm, HI-8, VHS and S-VHS source tape, with Cuts Editing (no A-B roll... yet!) Audio mixing and enhancement, custom labeling and duplication. |

Vernon Graner holds a Novell CNE and has over 5 years combined Netware 3.x and 4.x experience while also holding a Novell CNA. He has worked professionaly with all types of personal computers and networks for over 12 years. He created ParBENCH peer to peer network system for the Amiga. Kimberley Graner has over 5 years of experience with multiple network and computer systems. She holds a Novell CNA. Together they offer expertise in designing, repairing and updgrading various networks (Microsoft Windows 95/Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups peer to peer systems, Novell client/server systems, UNIX/LINUX and others.) |
